Richard W. Parod served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Lindsay Corporation from 2000 until his retirement in December 2017. Throughout his career, Mr. Parod has held several financial and business leadership roles. He served as the Vice President and General Manager of Toro Irrigation, a division of The Toro Company, from 1997 to March 2000. From 1993 to 1997, he was an executive officer of James Hardie Irrigation, serving as President of that company from 1994 to 1997. He has served on the Board of Directors of The Irrigation Association, the U.S., a trade association serving the irrigation industry, and on the Board of Trustees of the local chapter of Boy Scouts of America, as well as supporting various other charitable organizations. Mr. Parod brings 30 years of relevant business leadership experience and a deep understanding of public company governance to his role as director.
Director of Technology Solutions
Mr. Kocer was named Director of Technology Solutions in August 2016. Jared began working at Raven in 1994 as an Electrical Engineer in the Applied Technology Division. For the past 15 years he was the Director of Product Development/Engineering Manager for the Applied Technology Division. Jared has been involved in key projects and products including the Raven Innovation Center and leading the development of the Viper, Smartrax, and Hawkeye products. Jared’s primary focus will be on the company’s IP portfolio and the 3-5 year technology roadmaps.
Director of Corporate Development
Mr. Stroschein assumed the role of Director of Corporate Development in November 2015. Stroschein grew up on a farm near Warner SD and is 1999 graduate of South Dakota State University. He began at Raven in 2008 as International Sales Manager for Applied Technology Division and most recently served as the Division Vice President, Aerostar. As Director of Corporate Development, Stroschein’s primary focus is on Mergers & Acquisitions activity for the entire company. Stroschein successfully lead the negotiation and acquisition of Colorado Lining International, Inc. in 2017. Outside of Raven, Stroschein serves on the Sioux Falls Regional Airport Board authority, where he is currently serving as chairman. He also serves on the board of directors of the Friends of South Dakota Public Broadcasting and the executive finance committee of the Washington Pavilion.
